Chunky Deli was born at the intersection of good meals and great conversations — the kind you remember long after the plates are cleared. 

Caitlin and Christina first met in Brooklyn. Weekends were spent chasing down the best bites, getting lost in farmers’ markets, and soaking up the vibrant design culture around every corner. They shared a love for food, creativity, and exploration — always hunting for the next dish to try, the next idea to spark. But it wasn’t until they became mothers that they realized something was missing: a way to share that same curiosity with their kids.

They wanted their kids to feel at home in the kitchen — not just cooking, but exploring. Tasting. Asking questions. Laughing over lopsided cookies and learning that some of life’s best moments are served family-style.

So they started Chunky Deli — a playful, design-forward world of children’s books, apparel, and toys that invites little ones into the big, beautiful world of food.
